Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. Dry warm beds await you at SilverLeaf Suites of Eagle, and Fryingpan River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. The trees of White River National Forest are a tremendous source of shade on hot summer days,       and Ragged Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, LEDE Reservoir Campground is a great local campground. Summer at Ragged Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ragged Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Ragged Lakes you can take a hike along the Antone Trail, and                  whitewater paddling is good on Eagle River. Having a perfect time at Ragged Lakes is uncomplicated. If you need a location to stay Best Western Eagle Lodge is a splendid choice, and skiing at Aspen Highlands is one of those things you just have to do. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Sawatch Range. Camping at Adam Campground is always a great experience, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Edwards for sure. On a tremendous day at Ragged Lakes you can take a hike along the Ironedge Trail; if you've had enough of Ragged Lakes, LEDE Reservoir is nearby. Really fine skiing awaits you at Aspen Mountain. Around Ragged Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
