Ragged Lakes is located in the Sawatch Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Sawatch Range. If the weather is pleasant here at Ragged Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Antone Trail, and some fine nature is available in White River National Forest. Head up to Aspen Highlands and strap some skis to your feet, and lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Lost Lake. Soar down the rapids of Eagle       River in a kayak. Ragged Lakes gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Get wet paddling on Fryingpan River; a brilliant spot to camp here at Ragged Lakes is LEDE Reservoir Campground. So many amusing things in the Sawatch Range, just extraordinary. The Salt Creek Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Ragged Lakes;                  the snow is pleasant at Aspen Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. LEDE Reservoir is a brilliant lake right next door to Ragged Lakes, and if you need a place to stay SilverLeaf Suites of Eagle is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Ragged Lakes you can take a hike along the Ironedge Trail, and Best Western Eagle Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Ragged Lakes. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ragged Lakes are in the 0's.
