     Quien Sabe Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Quien Sabe Lake. Quien Sabe Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, San Juan Trailer Park and Motel is a brilliant local campground, and don't leave Quien Sabe Lake without first going for a hike along the Fourmile Stock Trail. Quien Sabe Lake is a location that is rather arid ordinarily; July is when you get the  
   most rain here, and June on the other hand is the driest.
The Rainbow Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Pagosa Resort. Having a good time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is uncomplicated. Visit Cade Creek if you're here at Quien Sabe Lake; camping at Pagosa Riverside Campground is always a tremendous experience.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Fourmile Lake is close by, and beautiful scenery and magnificent
 
               skiing is what you get at Wolf Creek. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. If you need a spot to stay Whispering Pines Condominums is a great choice; the view of pretty Cade Mountain is good. Not far from Quien Sabe Lake, you'll discover Beaver Lake which is a charming lake, and there's great hiking along the Martinez Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of San Juan River; a fine location for whitewater paddling is San Juan River. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Quien Sabe Lake with nighttime lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Quien Sabe Lake.

I am a guide on the San Juan here and wanted to correct the info about this run. The put in is behind a place called malt shoppe and the Lat/Long of it is: 37. 269902°, -107. 001559°

The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°

These are the closest Public put in & take out to the Lat/Long given on the site. Happy Raftin!...

San Juan River - East Fork

I am a very close relative of the land owners for a significant portion of the East Fork. There is a couple of miles of river that is private land. Using the river or the land without authorization is tresspassing and is illegal. I am by no means giving you permission to use it. I am simply stating the facts. Please respect the property line and stay on public lands. Other than that enjoy your time in CO and happy rafting....
