Do stop by Ptarmigan Lake while you're in this part of Colorado. Places like Imogene Basin are fine to go to; you could always look at Imogene Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Ouray Koa Kampground; dry warm beds await you at Camel's Garden Hotel & Condos. | | Weehawken Pack Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Silverton has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and obviously Richmond Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Ptarmigan Lake reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's | |

is so much fun. Lakes are brilliant; Ingram Lake is a lake that's right next door to Ptarmigan Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the
vicinity of Ptarmigan Lake. Around Ptarmigan Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. On a brilliant day at Ptarmigan Lake you can take a hike
along the Greyhound Pack Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ptarmigan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ridgeway.
