A visit to Ptarmigan Lake is always a good idea. Ptarmigan Lake is located in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Ptarmigan Lake is a great spot to camp, Endovalley Campground is a great spot; Flattop Mountain is clearly visible from Ptarmigan Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more amusing things to do in the Front Range. Inn At Grand Lake, The is a good location to get some rest, and a glorious spot like Bighorn Flats here at Ptarmigan Lake

You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ptarmigan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Moraine Park Campground; as expected, all our national parks are great places to have a look at and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception. even more entertaining stuff to do here at Ptarmigan Lake. A great place in close proximity to Ptarmigan Lake is Ptarmigan Pass; Grace Falls is a brilliant local attraction.
Ptarmigan Lake is pretty dry usually; during August
this area sees the most rain; November is when it's the driest. You'll locate a stunning lake called Bench Lake near Ptarmigan Lake; some interesting geology is available here, Sprague Glacier is right here. Now, you may assume that's
a load but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Front Range. The skiing at SolVista is fine.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ptarmigan Lake; Flattop Mountain Trail is a tremendous
local trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Joe Wright Creek. A good place for whitewater paddling next to Ptarmigan Lake is Cache La Poudre River, and a day on the slopes
of Berthoud Pass is just what you need. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Ptarmigan Lake. After a long day outdoors Bighorn Lodge is a nice place to spend a night or two; magnificent hiking is available along
the North Inlet Trail.
Summertime at Ptarmigan Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ptarmigan Lake.
