You could also stop at Lambing Camp Reservoir while you're here at Prink Reservoir; it's nearby, and Purgatoire River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express LA JUNTA is a fine spot to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Prink Reservoir; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights
