Take a little spree to Howard Fork if you're here at Priest Lakes, and a good site is Groundhog Gulch. Do stop by Trout Lake Dam since you're here at Priest Lakes; if you need a place to stay Capella Telluride is a magnificent choice. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Priest Lakes has it all. While you're here at Priest Lakes you can take a hike along the Lizard Head Trail;       don’t forget to stop by Lizard Head Meadows since you're here at Priest Lakes. Priest Lakes is usually a reasonably arid place; through July this area sees the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture. On a brilliant day at Priest Lakes you can take a hike along the East Fork Trail, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Miguel River. For the period of the summertime, highs mostly are in the 80's at                  Priest Lakes. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Priest Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Priest Lakes is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Sunshine Campground is a pleasant place to camp nearby; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Lime Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and a wonderful close by hotel is Mountain Lodge At Telluride. You can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Telluride; not far from Priest Lakes you'll find Trout Lake which is a pretty lake. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Really nice skiing awaits you at Silverton. Going for a hike along the Sheep Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Lakes?
