In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Priest Lakes is one of them. Get soaked paddling on Lime Creek, and a pleasant visit to Lizard Head Meadows is a nice way to spend an afternoon. This lake is so wonderful. The Sheep Trail offers hiking at its best, and a day on the slopes of Telluride is just what you need. | | to spend a night or two. You're almost certainly into lakes, Trout Lake is one of those close by, and you can take a little trip to Trout Lake Dam since you're here at Priest Lakes. night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Priest Lakes dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Priest Lakes is pretty waterless typically; of all
the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is nice on San Miguel River, and there are plenty of folks from Durango here at Priest Lakes. A
splendid location near Priest Lakes is Groundhog Gulch, and a perfect spot to camp here at Priest Lakes is Riverwood Inn and RV Park. Priest Lakes is right by the Lizard Head Trail, and do stop by Howard Fork while you're here at Priest Lakes. Yeah, come here to Priest Lakes for a delightful time. Take a hike on the East Fork Trail.
