Powderhorn Lakes is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains. There's wonderful hiking along the Cebolla Trail. Devils Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Powderhorn Lakes; Devils Hole Trail is a great local trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Powderhorn Lakes while overnight lows are mostly in the 40's.
