Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Potato Lake is one of them. Not much rainfall falls here at Potato Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Potato Lake, you could go to Crater Creek, and at Potato Lake you can catch a glimpse of Coal Bank Hill. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Potato Lake, and during

| | the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Potato Lake.

and if you need a place to stay Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Purgatory Campground since you're here at Potato Lake; going for a hike on the Deer Park Trail is
always a great adventure.
So much amusing stuff close to Potato Lake, definitely mind-blowing. There is a great hiking trail near Potato Lake called the Circle Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Lime Creek. Gotta ski! Kendall
Mountain is a pleasant place to do that, and camping is available at Lime Creek Campground. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan Mountains. The Highline Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Potato Lake; Cascade Village is a great place to get some rest.
