If you came for an overnight stay Haggard's RV Campground is a delightful location to camp, and why not a little side tour to Bear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express CANON CITY is a great place to spend a night or two, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mineral-Stevens Trail. There's just       no way someone can get bored here at Portland Reservoir. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Grape Creek, and lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Brush Hollow Reservoir. Portland Reservoir is a location that is rather dried up mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Floyd's RV Park if you're here at Portland Reservoir. At                  Portland Reservoir you always meet someone from Canon City, and hiking along the Rudolph Mountain Trail is great fun. Through the summer months here at Portland Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Portland Reservoir plunge into the 20's.
