What a nice lake Porcupine Lake is. This site, the Park Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. Porcupine Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Dry Lake Campground is a glorious local campground, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Haymaker Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Big Creek Lake Trail.

| | If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Park Range. There is a great hiking trail near Porcupine Lake called the Luna Lake Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Luna Lake.

whitewater spots on Elk River. At Porcupine Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's
for Porcupine Lake.
There's so much to do here at Porcupine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Summit Lake Campground is a great location for that; hey, Porcupine Creek is a delightful local stream. Not much rain falls
here at Porcupine Lake; during December this area sees the most snow, and August on the other hand is the driest. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Winterwood Townhomes
is a great place to spend a night or two; the Crags Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. So many enjoyable things to do at Porcupine Lake, so little time. If you need a place to stay Western Lodge is a perfect choice; needless to say, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Lake Elbert is a lake in close proximity.
