All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Porcupine Lake. Dry Lake Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and since you're here at Porcupine Lake it's a perfect idea to check out Horse Thief Park. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Crags Trail will let you absorb       the natural beauty of this neighborhood; if you came for an overnight stay Summit Lake Campground is a good location to camp. Porcupine Lake is a beautiful lake in the Park Range. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Porcupine Lake. Winterwood Townhomes is a great site to get some rest; there are other places here than Porcupine Lake, for example Lake Elbert. All year is a magnificent time in the Park Range if you like the outdoors. The summit of Horse                  Thief Peak can be distinguished from Porcupine Lake, and the skiing at Steamboat is perfect. Porcupine Lake is a location that is reasonably arid usually; most of the snow falls through December; August on the other hand is the driest. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Park Range, too perfect to be true. If the weather is glorious here at Porcupine Lake, you can go for a hike along the Luna Lake Trail, and if you're a golfer then a brilliant nearby course is Haymaker Golf Course. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River, and dry warm beds await you at Western Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Porcupine Creek, and Luna Lake is a good lake close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun.
