The beauty of The Pool attracts many people from all around. Through the warm days of summer here at The Pool, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's; night lows in the 0's for The Pool. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Mountain is scenic and can be seen from The Pool, and if you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River offers some delightful

| | whitewater. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Camping at The Pool is splendid fun, Moraine Park Campground is a splendid local campground It's always glorious to take a look at Fern Falls. Around The Pool you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is November. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Mountain Trail, and while you're here, you could pop by Spruce Creek. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Front Range. Rocky Mountain National Park is a tremendous local destination here at The Pool; if you
came for an overnight stay Endovalley Campground is a tremendous place to camp. Any time is a wonderful time at The Pool if you go for the outdoors. If you need a location to stay Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a good choice, and Mill
Creek Basin is a good site to check out. Hiking along the Loch Vale Trail is perfect fun, and The Pool is close to Forest Canyon which is certainly worth stopping at. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at The Pool.
A nice nearby hotel is Estes Park Condos, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - North. Take a hike on the Glacier Creek Trail; do go to Black Pool, it's a gorgeous lake.
