Looking for some flowing water? Try Spruce Creek, and camping at Endovalley Campground is always a tremendous experience. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Fawn Valley Inn. Lakes are great; Black Pool is a lake that's in the neighborhood of The Pool. Not much precipitation falls here at The Pool; August is the wettest month with most       rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the warmest time of the year here at The Pool, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows through the wintertime for The Pool tend to be in the 0's. That right there is loads already, but it keeps on going; The Pool has it all. Nearby Forest Canyon is a magnificent location to go if you're at The Pool, and if you need a spot to stay Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a nice choice. You simply should go for the Front Range. The Glacier Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; you can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River. If time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth going to; not far from The Pool you'll come across Cub Lake which is a scenic lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around The Pool; Flattop Mountain Trail is a magnificent local trail, and camping is available at Moraine Park Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Mill Creek Basin since you're here at The Pool, and one of the major marks of the surroundings of The Pool is Beaver Mountain. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do in the Front Range.
