There's so much to do here at Pond Lily Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Pearl Lake is a glorious spot for that; don't leave Pond Lily Lakes without first going for a hike along the Red Dirt Trail. You could also check out Steamboat Lake while you're here at Pond Lily Lakes; it's nearby, and why not head up to Howelsen Hill and strap some skis to your feet. This       lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Elk River; going for a hike on the Big Creek Bridge Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Pond Lily Lakes is located in the Park Range. High temperatures at Pond Lily Lakes throughout the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pond Lily Lakes. It is                  very dried up here at Pond Lily Lakes ordinarily; the month with most of the snow is December while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Steamboat is just what you need, and Buck Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from Pond Lily Lakes. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area close to Pond Lily Lakes has to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk River; Pond Lily Lakes is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Dutch Hill Campground is a glorious local campground. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the Park Range. If you need a place to stay CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a glorious choice, and you can go for a hike on the Nipple Peak Trail. Nearby lakes?
