So much fun stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, not enough time. There's so much to do here at Poma Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Dakota Campground is a magnificent place for that, and Best Western Rambler is a great place to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo       Mountains. If you came to camp Country Host Motel and RV Park is a great place to do that, and not far from Poma Reservoir you'll locate Gabriel Lake which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Poma Lake, and after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Walsenburg is a fine place to spend a night or two. During the summertime months at Poma Reservoir highs are regularly in the 80's,                  and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
