Why not take a refreshing hike along the Music Pass Trail, and a lovely lake like Deadman Lakes is a tremendous site to check out. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Camping at North Crestone Campground is always a fine experience, and do check out Little Sand Creek Lakes, it's a       stunning lake. Pole Creek Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. So many cool things close to Pole Creek Lake, absolutely amazing. Have a great hiking adventure along the Rainbow Trail, and if you're looking for a glorious spree, Great Sand Dunes National Monument is rather near. High temperatures at Pole Creek Lake during the warm months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets                  highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pole Creek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Alamosa is a tremendous choice, and if you came to camp Pinyon Flats Campground is a perfect location to do that. That right there is a heap of amusing things already but it goes on, the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has it all.
