Do stop by Point Reservoir while you're in this part of Colorado. There are great locations to explore along the Woods Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some great people from Montrose here; don't leave Point Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Wood Lake Trail. Point Reservoir is pretty dry typically; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
