This lake is so wonderful. During the days of summer here at Pocahontas Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Pocahontas Lake tend to be in the 0's. Looking for something right next door to Pocahontas Lake? Red Feather Lake is close by, and       do take a hike on the Killpecker Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
