Poage Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's fine hiking along the Dry Creek Stock Driveway. After a long day outdoors The Spruce Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at South Fork Campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Poage Reservoir.

| | When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Poage Reservoir all through the wintertime commonly sink into the 0's. Poage Reservoir is a pretty wet place ordinarily with much rain; all through the month of March you get the most snow around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Poage Reservoir. | |

Dry warm beds await you at Allington Inn and Suites; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Poage Reservoir,
you could also check out scenic Lost Lake. There's so much to do here at Poage Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, River's Edge RV Resort is a great location for that. Beaver Park Reservoir is a nearby lake that you
could explore, and don't leave Poage Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more enjoyable things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's
always Poage Dam to go to in close proximity to Poage Reservoir, and the North Fork Dry Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
