| | This lake is so wonderful. Platte Canyon Reservoir is right by the Missouri Gulch Trail, of course you could also go to Fairview Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. If you came to camp Rock Springs Campground is a brilliant place to do that; if you need a place to stay TownePlace Suites Denver Southwest/Littleton is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Manitou Park Trail, and a magnificent nearby hotel | |

is Hampton Inn Suites Denver Littleton. This place is unbeatable, just explore all the enjoyable things to do right next door to Platte Canyon Reservoir. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Deer Creek Golf Club,
and there's whitewater on South Platte River for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. So much cool stuff in the Front Range, just fantastic. Hiking is a popular thing to do around
Platte Canyon Reservoir; Long Hollow Trail is a great local trail, and since you're here, you might as well have a look at Platte Canyon. Throughout the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Platte Canyon Reservoir
with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Platte Canyon Reservoir dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Life's too short to enjoy all
the enjoyable stuff in the Front Range. There's so much to do here at Platte Canyon Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Chatfield is a great place for that, and at Platte Canyon Dam close to Platte Canyon Reservoir there
