So many entertaining things to do in the Front Range, not sufficient time. Hiking along the Missouri Gulch Trail is great fun, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Platte Canyon Reservoir is Chatfield. Platte Canyon Reservoir       is not the only location nearby, Fairview Reservoir is a nearby lake, and pleasant water scenery is available at Platte Canyon Dam near Platte Canyon Reservoir. Summertime highs at Platte Canyon Reservoir usually tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Platte Canyon Reservoir. This spot, the Front Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things.
