Beautiful Placid Lake has much to offer visitors. Go for a hike on the Deer Mountain Trail; Rocky Mountain National Park is a very brilliant spot to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Inn on Fall River is a glorious place to get some rest, and Placid Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Elk Meadow Lodge and RV Resort is a great site to camp nearby. Placid Lake is one of the lakes here in the Front Range.

| | at Placid Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is November. So much cool stuff in the Front Range, just tremendous. Blue Arrow Campground is a great campground nearby, and obviously, A tour to Black Canyon is always fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Placid Lake. Don't leave Placid Lake without first going for a hike along the Cow Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, | |

Beaver Brook is a stream that you may come across during your stay, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - North. This lake is
so wonderful. A tremendous vista of beautiful Castle Mountain is available from Placid Lake, and while you're here at Placid Lake, checking out The Needles is a must. At Placid Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the
70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Placid Lake.
What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Get your pulse rate up
on the perfect whitewater of Cache La Poudre River - South Fork. And that's not all there is to do here in the Front Range. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Estes Valley Recreation District Estes Park Golf Club
is around here; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Cascade Lake. If you need a spot to stay RiverStone Resorts-BearPaw Ste is a splendid choice, and there are great places to discover along the North Deer Mountain Trail.
