This location, the Front Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Pisgah Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Gambler's Edge RV Resort is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and drift down the rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range, not enough time. A wonderful spot to take a look at near Pisgah Lake is Broomfield Gulch, and why not take a refreshing       hike along the James Peak Lake Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek, and do take a hike on the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Missouri Lake is a fine lake right next door to Pisgah Lake; hiking along the Lost Lake Trail is tremendous fun. Around Pisgah Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Pisgah Lake through the long                  summer days are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Pisgah Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Winter Park; Shwayder Camp-Temple Emanuel is a great local campground. Bald Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Pisgah Lake, and a scenic lake like Silver Lake is a nice place to pop by. Pecks Flat is a gorgeous place any time of year; Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk is a good location to get some rest. Pisgah Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Berthoud Pass is next to Pisgah Lake. What a place this is for outdoors people.
