It is very waterless here at Pipit Lake commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek, and Pipit Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day,       Shelter Rock Campground is a great location to camp nearby. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Front Range. There are other spots here than Pipit Lake, for example Lark Pond; you can stay the night at Pawnee Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Inn At Grand Lake, The, and the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range.                  This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Berthoud Pass, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pipit Lake; Bluebird Lake Trail is a pleasant local trail. No need to travel far to visit out of the ordinary stuff like Eagles Beak; The Cleaver is clearly visible from Pipit Lake. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Saint Vrain Creek - North; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Bluebird Dam. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Front Range is unbeatable! If you're stopping by Pipit Lake from Boulder, you won't be the only one. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Boulder-Grand Pass is a tremendous spot to explore in the vicinity of Pipit Lake, and if you need a location to stay Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a great choice. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Pipit Lake has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lion Lake Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Winter Park is a nice place to do that. During the warm months at Pipit Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Pipit Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
