If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Piney Lake. Piney Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month of the year is February. Lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is around here, and what would winter be without some skiing at Vail. And that's not all the things to do here in the Park Range. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Vail Golf Club, and hiking is a

This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for folks from Edwards, and the Nottingham Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. Gore Creek Campground is a good campground here, and the view of pretty Petty Mountain is nice. Be careful coming to Piney Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Cross Creek, and a fine nearby hotel is Vail Landmark Properties. Piney Lake is one of the
lakes here in the Park Range. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gore Creek, and after a long day outdoors Montaneros Condominiums is a great place to spend a
night or two.
If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Piney Lake. During the long summer days at Piney Lake highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the
40's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Piney Lake are in the 0's. So much fun stuff in the Park Range, just inspiring. Looking for some flowing water? Try Marugg Creek, and camping at Piney Lake is tremendous fun, Piney Crossing Campground is a tremendous local campground.
