Vail is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Piney Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Piney Lake has to offer, you can camp at Learning Camp; if the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a magnificent view of Petty Mountain from Piney Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Park Range for a nice time. Piney Lake is a magnificent place to visit for
more than one day, Piney Crossing Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and Vail Golf Club is a golf course nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Piney Lake while nighttime lows are regularly
in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Piney Lake dip into the 0's. Not much rain falls here at Piney Lake; of all the months in a year July is
the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Why not stop by nearby Marugg Creek while you're here at Piney Lake. Lakes? Sure, Cliff Lake is in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Take a
hike on the Lost Lake Trail; why not head up to Beaver Creek and strap some skis to your feet. A great close by hotel is Vail Landmark Properties, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Nottingham Ridge Trail.
