If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Pinewood Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Be careful coming to the Front Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Big Thompson River; you don’t have to go far from Pinewood Lake to see the water at Rattlesnake Dam. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's

| | good hiking along the Round Mountain Trail, and Rattlesnake Park is right here at Pinewood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well visit Mill Gulch, and a spree to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pinewood Lake; Jug Trail is a perfect local trail, and a wonderful close by hotel is Lake Shore Lodge. at Carter Valley Campgrounds, and if you need a place to stay Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a fine choice. High temperatures at Pinewood Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly
in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Pinewood Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Pinewood Lake that you
need to camp here for a while, Riverview RV Park and Campground is a tremendous spot for that; from Pinewood Lake you obtain a magnificent view of Bald Mountain. Pinewood Lake is a location that is pretty dried up regularly; during
the month of July you get the most rain around here while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Why not
take a refreshing hike along the Crosier Mountain Trail, and you'll probably meet some folks from Fort Collins-Loveland here.
