There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Pinewood Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pinewood Lake; Round Mountain Trail is a great local trail, and Carter Valley Campgrounds is a fine campground nearby. Pinewood Lake is pretty waterless generally; most of the rain falls through July; December meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing       hike along the Crosier Mountain Trail, and at Rattlesnake Dam next to Pinewood Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see. Through the warmest time of the year at Pinewood Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Pinewood Lake. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can                  always go whitewater paddling on Big Thompson River. Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch is a pleasant local campground, and if you haven’t been to Rocky Mountain National Park, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a splendid place to get some rest; while you're here at Pinewood Lake it's a tremendous idea to visit Rattlesnake Park. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Front Range. This is a popular location for folks from Fort Collins-Loveland, and you can observe Bald Mountain from Pinewood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Jug Trail offers hiking at its best, and you could always look at Mill Gulch. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful.
