It is very arid here at Pinewood Lake frequently; the wettest month of the year is regularly July, that's the one that rains the most while December is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Pinewood Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch is a tremendous local campground, and the vista of lovely Bald Mountain is delightful. You might want       to pay a visit to Mill Gulch since you're here at Pinewood Lake; Pinewood Lake is right by the Round Mountain Trail. For the duration of the months of summer at Pinewood Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Rattlesnake Park is a splendid site to check out, needless to say you could also explore Flatiron Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. All the outdoors fun things in close proximity to Pinewood Lake will keep you coming back persistently. People from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come to Pinewood Lake; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Big Thompson River. Hiking along the Jug Trail is pleasant fun; if you have time to spare, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth checking out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful.
