The scenery at Allen Lake Dam close to Lake of the Pines is wonderful; Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a magnificent site to get some rest. You could also check out Allen Lake since you're here at Lake of the Pines; it's close by; Parrish Ranch Recreational Vehicle Resort & Evnt is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bear       Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; if you come at the right time of year, Saint Vrain Creek - North offers some great whitewater. Hiking along the Green Mountain Trail is great fun, and Geer Canyon is also a pleasant place to discover. So many amusing things in the Front Range, just mind-boggling. Lake of the Pines is a spot with many visitors from Boulder, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express BOULDER is a glorious                  choice. Lake of the Pines is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Rocky Mountain National Park is a great place close to Lake of the Pines. Through the summer highs here at Lake of the Pines reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake of the Pines. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Saddle Rock Trail; why not camp at Stone Mountain Lodge and RV Park while you're here at Lake of the Pines. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Front Range. A lake close by is Allens Lake, and you can observe Red Hill from Lake of the Pines.
