This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling near Lake of the Pines is Saint Vrain Creek - North, and you can go for a hike on the Saddle Rock Trail. Lake of the Pines is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Having a tremendous time in the Front Range is painless. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Boulder, Co, and needless to say, this is       a good area for folks who like lakes, Margaret Spurgeon Reservoir Number 1 is a lake in the vicinity. For the period of the long summer days at Lake of the Pines highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Lake of the Pines tend to be in the 10's. A glorious place to camp here at Lake of the Pines is Stone Mountain                  Lodge and RV Park; you'll meet a lot of folks from Boulder here. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Front Range has to offer. If you need a place to stay Bighorn Moutain Lodge is a tremendous choice, and Geer Canyon is also a splendid site to discover. It is very dry here at Lake of the Pines regularly; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. There's some interesting stuff to see at Allen Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Lake of the Pines, and don't leave Lake of the Pines without first going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Parrish Ranch Recreational Vehicle Resort & Evnt while you're here at Lake of the Pines, and the panoramas at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind. Any time is a good time at Lake of the Pines if you have a thing about the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Bear Peak Trail, and from Lake of the Pines you get a tremendous view of Red Hill.
