After a long day outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Peterson Lake you could also check out close by Trap Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Peterson Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter       at Peterson Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do near Peterson Lake. A lake nearby is Long Draw Reservoir, and Peterson Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Grand View Campground is a good place to camp nearby. Some nearby water includes Willow Creek; hiking along the Big South Trail is delightful fun. Do go to Peterson Lake Dam since you're here at Peterson Lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking                  adventure along the Corral Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Joe Wright Creek, and going for a hike along the Zimmerman Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Dry warm beds await you at Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr, and Long Draw Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Peterson Lake is pretty waterless ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is May; January is when it's the driest.
