This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Buckingham Campground since you're here at Peterson Lake, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Rainbow Lakes Trail. Places like Caribou Flat are fine to go to, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a glorious view of Buckeye Mountain from Peterson Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. Nearby lakes? Sure, Karel Park Lake is next to Peterson Lake.

| | You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Berthoud Pass if you're here, and after a long day outdoors Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a brilliant time. On a splendid day at Peterson Lake you can take a hike along the Lost Lake Trail; a great site for whitewater paddling is Boulder Creek - South. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful. Lodge At Nederland is a great place to get some rest; don't forget to take a great little spree to Antelope Creek. For the period of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 70's at Peterson Lake. Once the sun is down it
plunges down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Peterson Lake are in the 0's. Peterson Lake is pretty arid ordinarily; August is the month that gets the most rain while February
is frequently the driest month. All the outdoors fun things in the Front Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you came for an overnight stay Fourth of July Campground is a perfect place to camp; Black Canyon is a splendid
place to spend some time. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do right next door to Peterson Lake. You could also stop by Lake Eldora if you're here at Peterson Lake; it's close by, and beautiful scenery and brilliant skiing
is what you acquire at Winter Park. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Peterson Lake you can take a hike along the Kings Lake Trail, and you can run the rapids of Boulder Creek.
