This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Boulder Creek, and why not camp at Buckingham Campground if you're here at Peterson Lake. Having a great time at Peterson Lake is uncomplicated. The Kings Lake Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Peterson Lake, and Fourth of July Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's       no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Winter Park, and there are other places here than Peterson Lake, for example Karel Park Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Front Range. Lakes? Sure, Lake Eldora is in close proximity, and Iron Horse Resort is a good spot to get some rest. So many enjoyable things in close proximity to Peterson Lake, simply tremendous. Hit the slopes at Berthoud Pass in the neighborhood.
