If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Peterson Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Peterson Lake; Kings Lake Trail is a wonderful local trail; if you came for an overnight stay Fourth of July Campground is a brilliant place to camp. For the period of the warm days of summer at Peterson Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures

If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. If you need a place to stay Best Western Lodge At Nederland is a great choice; here at Peterson Lake you can spot Buckeye Mountain. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you wish for a little side tour, try Black Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Peterson Lake is right by the Rainbow Lakes Trail, and Beaver Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Iron Horse Resort is a great place to get some rest; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby
Berthoud Pass. It is very arid here at Peterson Lake typically; all through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling next to Peterson
Lake is Boulder Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Winter Park in close proximity. The Lost Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and do check out Lost Lake, it's a picturesque lake. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's
even more entertaining stuff to do here at Peterson Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boulder Creek - South, and a spree to Caribou Flat revitalizes the soul.
These mountains rock, just explore all the amusing things to do in the Front Range. Camping is available at Buckingham Campground, and Antelope Creek is right next door to Peterson Lake and is always a pleasure to stop by.
