At Peterson Draw Reservoir Number 2 through the summer months highs are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Maverick Flats is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit; while you're here, you might as well have a look at Peterson Draw. It is very dried out here at Peterson Draw Reservoir Number 2 regularly; the month with most of the rain is October, and February is the month with the least moisture.
