The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Not far from Lake Percy, you'll stumble on Little Lost Lake which is a pretty lake; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Howelsen Hill. Summertime highs at Lake Percy usually tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Percy dipping down into the-10's       through winter nights. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the Park Range. Camping is available at Base Campground, and some close by water includes Butcherknife Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you need a site to stay Winterwood Townhomes is a great choice, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat while you're here. Lake Percy is a location that is relatively dry ordinarily; December is the                  wettest month with most snow; August is the month with the least moisture. Going for a hike on the Divide Trail is always a fine adventure, and at Lake Percy you always meet someone from Edwards. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Percy called the Percy Lake Trail, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk River. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Park Range, too great to be true. Lakes are great; Round Lake is a lake that's next to Lake Percy; Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a great spot to get some rest. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do near Lake Percy. There are nice spots to discover along the Fish Creek Falls Trail; Elk River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
