Have fished at Rosemont for many years. Always had a great time, caught alot of fish. Very few people used to fish there but the scenery and beauty of the lake naturally attracts people.

Many people like to go to Penrose-Rosemont Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Barr Trail; if you came to camp Wye Campground is a nice site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you should schedule some time for it if you're here, and going for a hike on the Penrose Trail is always a glorious adventure. That right there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all.
