If you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course       like Patty Jewett Golf Course. Just can't get enough of Penrose Reservoir. North Cheyenne Creek is a perfect local stream, and Point Sublime is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. So many cool things to do at Penrose Reservoir, so little time. A pleasant close by hotel is The Broadmoor, and you can stay the night at Gold Camp Promotions. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the                  Front Range. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail, and Cheyenne Lake is a fine lake nearby. So many fun things in the Front Range, just unbelievable. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Penrose Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Golden Eagle Ranch Campground; you can go for a hike on the Palmer Trail. At Penrose Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is July; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Seven Falls is an inspiring site to take a look at during your stay; going for a hike on the Penrose Trail is always a wonderful adventure. And that's not all you can do here in the Front Range. Through the months of summer highs here at Penrose Reservoir reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 0's for Penrose Reservoir.
