The beauty of Penrose Reservoir attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Cheyenne Lake if you're here at Penrose Reservoir; it's nearby. There's so much to do here at Penrose Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Eagle Ranch Campground is a good location for that. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Front Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Penrose Dam is a lovely place in close proximity
