The beauty of Penrose Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Penrose Reservoir; Indian Trail is a fine local trail, and of course, all our national parks are wonderful places to check out and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception. Not much rain falls here at Penrose Reservoir; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. If you're here,

| | you might as well stop at North Cheyenne Canyon; if you need a location to stay Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a splendid choice. Yeah, come here to Penrose Reservoir for a good time. An afternoon playing golf at Patty Jewett Golf Course is always a joy. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Penrose Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Penrose Trail, and if you want to stop at some exciting stuff, stop at Point Sublime. All year is a good time | |

by nearby Big Stratton Reservoir; Penrose Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Penrose Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Throughout the summertime at Penrose Reservoir highs are regularly in the 70's. Through
the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Penrose Reservoir. There are plenty of people from Colorado Springs here at Penrose Reservoir, and good hiking is available along the Palmer Trail.
