Near Peltier Lake you come across the Bailey Lake Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and there are other sites here than Peltier Lake, for example Wilbur Lake. Going for a hike on the Fayville Trail is always a nice adventure, and camping at Hill Creek Campground and Trailhead is always a fine experience. Peltier Lake gets very little rainfall; during October this area sees the       most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. A trip to Peltier Basin revitalizes the spirit; don't miss out on a great swamp; White Springs is right here at Peltier Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Bar-Bel Lake is close at hand, and a perfect place to camp here at Peltier Lake is Meadow Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of White River - North Fork near Peltier Lake; there are good spots to explore                  along the Oyster Lake Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Peltier Lake.
