This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. This place is so good, just explore all the amusing things to do close to Peggy Lake. If you need a spot to stay CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a tremendous choice; Fryingpan Basin is a great spot to check out. Around Peggy Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year April is the one with the       most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. Very scenic scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Steamboat; why not go to a swamp like Swamp Park since you're here at Peggy Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Park Range. The top of Flattop Mountain is easily made out from Peggy Lake, and if you've had enough of Peggy Lake, Blue Lake is close by. For the duration                  of the days of summer highs here at Peggy Lake get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Peggy Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Fryingpan Trail; Helena Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit North Platte River; you can stay the night at Lakeside Campground. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Park Range. Soar down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak, and do take a hike on the Red Dirt Pass Trail.
