There are good sites to explore along the Lowline Trail, and after a long day outdoors The Elevation Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two. Mount Baldy is painless to spot from Peeler Lakes, and Paradise Basin is a lovely place any time of year. So many enjoyable things in close proximity to Peeler Lakes, simply phenomenal. Stay the night at Avery Peak Campground, and a great       place for whitewater paddling is Slate River. Really great skiing awaits you at Irwin Lodge, and Poverty Gulch is a delightful spot to check out. Peeler Lakes gets very little rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Daisy Creek. Through the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 70's at Peeler Lakes.                  During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while Peeler Lakes nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Peeler Lakes called the Trail Riders Trail, and Grand Lodge Crested Butte is a glorious place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway is always a glorious adventure.
