Camping is available at Mavreeso Campground, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Pease Spring. Pease Reservoir is pretty dehydrated usually; through March this area sees the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. What a location this is for outdoors folks. The summit of Bald Hill can be observed from Pease Reservoir, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Stoner Stock Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Why not camp at West Dolores Campground while you're here at Pease Reservoir, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dolores River. Cottonwood Creek is near Pease Reservoir and is always a delight to stop by, and the Stoner Mesa Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Pease Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. Do pop by Steer Number Three Reservoir in close proximity to Pease Reservoir, it's a pretty lake, and after a long day outdoors
Dunton Hot Springs is a nice place to spend a night or two. A delightful lake like Steer Number Two Reservoir right next door to Pease Reservoir is a splendid place to stop at, and while you're here you can take a hike along the
Eagle Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mesa Verde National Park is a pleasant local destination here at Pease Reservoir, and if you need a site to stay Echo Basin Dude And Guest Ranch, LLC is a good choice.

It contains 402 surfqace acres when full. The lake is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) and open for public fishing. Public access is from highway 184 on the north side of the lake. There is a boat ramp. Fishing is allowed from the bank or from hand powered or trolling motor powered boats only.
