Summertime at Pearl Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Pearl Lakes tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Castle Lakes Campground Resort while you're here at Pearl Lakes, and do take a look at Castle Rock Lake,       it's a stunning lake. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Pearl Lakes. Going for a hike on the Cebolla Trail is always a good adventure. There is a great hiking trail next to Pearl Lakes called the Long Ridge Stock Driveway, and stunning scenery and nice skiing is what you obtain at Silverton. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the San Juan Mountains. The Fern Creek Stock Driveway is a great hiking trail in the vicinity                  of Pearl Lakes, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Henson Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. Around Pearl Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February.
