The beauty of Pear Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Pear Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. Pear Reservoir in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Hiking along the Finch Lake-Pear Reservoir Trail is pleasant fun, and dry warm beds await you at Marys Lake Lodge. If you need a location to stay Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a magnificent choice, and if you have time to spare, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park
   worth going to.
This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Wild Basin while you're here at Pear Reservoir, and Boulder Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Hutcheson Lakes is one of those close by. Copeland Mountain can be seen from Pear Reservoir, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater

paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - North.
But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Front Range. There's so much to do here at Pear Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Pawnee Lake Campground is a great spot for that, and you can hit the slopes at Berthoud Pass nearby. At Pear Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. What a site this is for outdoors people. Pear Reservoir is right by the Bluebird Lake Trail; don't forget to take a fine little trip to Ouzel Creek.
Having a magnificent time in the Front Range is easy. Pear Reservoir is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Crater Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Winter Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Front Range. A short spree to Ouzel Falls is always worthwhile. During the days of summer here at Pear Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pear Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Pear Dam if you're here at Pear Reservoir, and needless to say, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Ouzel Lake is a lake close at hand.
