If you like lakes and you're in this part of Colorado you can check out Pear Lake. Pear Lake is right by the Main Range Trail; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Cooper. Throughout the long summer days at Pear Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Pear Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. So many cool

Notch Lake near Pear Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Mary Queen Campground is a wonderful location to camp. Pear Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in
the Sawatch Range. There's delightful hiking along the Highline Trail, and Elbert Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Mount Massive Trail offers hiking at its best. Around Pear Lake you
don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.
After a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; there are some splendid whitewater spots on Lake Creek.
