If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Pear Lake. Be careful coming to Pear Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Hit the slopes at Silverton nearby, and Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a glorious place to get some rest. Don't leave Pear Lake without first checking out Overlook Point. There's so much to do here at Pear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lime Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that.

| | Summertime highs at Pear Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Pear Lake descend into the 0's.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Kendall Mountain. Pear Lake gets very little precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and June on the other hand is the | |

driest. On a pretty day you get a view of Lime Mesa from Pear Lake; the Whitehead Trail offers hiking at its best.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Cascade Village is a perfect choice, and Pear Lake is right
by the Highline Trail. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Deer Park Trail, and it's a magnificent idea to pop by New York Creek. And that's not all you can do here in the San
Juan Mountains. Paddling on Animas River is so much fun; Dollar Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a
day to look at everything Pear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bear Creek Campground, and get wet paddling on Canyon Creek.
