Summertime highs at Pear Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Pear Lake descend into the 0's. Be careful coming to the Sawatch Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again.       Hughes Meadow Campground is a nice campground nearby, and a gorgeous lake like Twin Lakes is a great place to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Pear Lake without first going for a hike along the Texas Creek Trail, and Monarch is a pleasant local ski area. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Pear Lake; South Pine Creek Trail is a great local trail; a brilliant close by hotel is Super 8 Buena Vista. Yeah, come up here to the Sawatch Range                  for a great time. Clear Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Cooper is pretty near. Silver King Lake is a great lake close to Pear Lake; there's great hiking along the Horn Fork Trail. Pear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Pear Lake. Pear Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Parry Peak Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Vista Inn is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful.
