In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Peanut Lake is one of them. Peanut Lake is a location that is rather dried up regularly; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling close to Peanut Lake is Oh Be Joyful Creek; going for a hike on the Lowline Trail is always a glorious adventure. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Aspen Highlands, and camping is available at Avery Peak Campground. A nice nearby hotel is Crested Butte Intl. at Peanut Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Peanut Lake tend to be in the-10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Lake Brennand next to Peanut Lake, it's a pretty lake; skiing at Irwin Lodge is one of those things you just must do. Any time is a brilliant time at Peanut Lake if you adore the outdoors.
Lake Brennand Dam is a wonderful spot in close proximity to Peanut Lake, and nearby you come across the Trail Riders Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
