Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is plentiful here in the Front Range. Interesting geology is available here; Chasm View is close to Peacock Pool, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Peak Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Looking for some flowing water? Try Larkspur Creek, and Marys Lake Lodge is a great site to get some rest. If you want a splendid time in the great       outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Longs Peak Campground is a good local campground; you can run the rapids of Saint Vrain Creek - South. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff to do in the Front Range. Peacock Pool is mostly a relatively waterless place; August is the month that gets the most rain; November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Field is a tremendous place here at Peacock Pool, and there's                  whitewater on Saint Vrain Creek - North for all you adrenaline junkies. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Peacock Pool is a great place to visit for more than one day, Glacier Basin Campground is a great place to camp nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Peacock Pool; Storm Pass Trail is a splendid local trail. At Peacock Pool through the summer months highs are in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Peacock Pool tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the East Longs Peak Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. A tour to Columbine Falls will fill your spirit with perfect feelings; the sights at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind. Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do close to Peacock Pool. Here at Peacock Pool you can catch a sight of Battle Mountain, and needless to say, this is a fine area for folks who like lakes, Black Lake is a lake nearby.
