Pawnee Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. At Pawnee Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Pawnee Lake are in the 0's. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. stay Pawnee Lake Campground is a glorious location to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Buchanan Pass Trail.
Pawnee Lake is a location that is relatively dried up typically; the month of August is the wettest
with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Drift down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak; a splendid vista of wonderful Apache Peak is available. Pawnee Lake is located in the Front Range.
