Go to Pass Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Loveland, and Pass Lake is not far at all from Silverthorne. It is very dried out here at Pass Lake ordinarily; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Woods Creek is so much fun, and if you crave a little side spree, try Loveland Pass.

| | If you need a location to stay Key To The Rockies Lodging At Keystone is a wonderful choice, and if you've had enough of Pass Lake, Herman Lake is nearby. Soar down the rapids of Clear Creek - West Fork in a kayak, and you can go for a hike on the South Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Pass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mizpah Campground is a delightful site for that, and close by you come across the Argentine | |

North Fork Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
High temperatures at Pass Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 30's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs
in the 20's with temperatures at Pass Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Park Range is peerless! Pass Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Floral
Park Campground is a nice local campground; Arapahoe Basin is a very popular ski area nearby. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Pass Lake has it all.
Pass Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range.
And that's not all you can do here at Pass Lake. Snake River Falls is always fun to check out, and going for a hike on the Grays Peak Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more cool
stuff to do here in the Park Range. Ski Tip Townhomes is a good place to get some rest, and you get a good view of Mount Sniktau from here.
