Pass Creek Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Having a perfect time in the Sawatch Range is trouble-free. If you come at the right time of year, Arkansas River offers some glorious whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Pass Creek Lake, and the night is quite colder of course, regularly in the 30's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the-20's overnight here at Pass Creek Lake. This lake is located

Pass Creek Lake is ordinarily a reasonably dried up place; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. A nice close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Salida, Co, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Arkansas River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pass Creek Lake has to offer, you can camp at O Haver Lake Campground, and | |

take a refreshing hike along the Fooses Creek Trail. Aspen Leaf Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest, and Monarch has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. All the outdoors cool stuff near Pass Creek Lake will keep you coming back
persistently. Pass Creek Lake is right by the Sheep Mountain Trail, and Chipeta Mountain is clearly visible from Pass Creek Lake.
