A delightful nearby hotel is The Evergreens On Fall River, and great hiking is available along the Mount McConnel Trail. While you're here at Parvin Lake, you could also take a look at wonderful Parvin Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Kreutzer Nature Trail. So many exciting things to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains, too great to be true. There's so much to do here at Parvin
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest is a delightful location for that, and there are splendid places to explore along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail. Parvin Lake is a location that is quite
arid generally; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month is December. Parvin Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lost Lake Campground is a splendid local campground, and whitewater paddling is not
for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River.
The Medicine Bow Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
