High temperatures at Parsons Reservoir during the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Parsons Reservoir temperatures descend to the-10's. Parsons Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's near Parsons Reservoir, and you can have a great       hiking adventure along the Siebert Creek Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Park Range for a great time. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Blue River; Parsons Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Red Mountain RV Park is a great local campground. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Parsons Reservoir. Here at Parsons Reservoir you can catch a sight of Middle Carter                  Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Colorado River. Parsons Reservoir is a location that is rather dehydrated mostly; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest month of the year is August. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Hiking along the Grassy Run Trail is delightful fun. Camping at Gore Pass Campground is always a magnificent experience; a fine close by hotel is Eastin Hotel. This lake is so wonderful.
