     The Ridge Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best, and one of the governing traits of the surroundings of Parson Lake is Bonita Peak. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Parson Lake; Bear Creek Trail is a great local trail; if you need a spot to stay St.Elmo Hotel is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Kendall Mountain is close to Parson Lake, and Comfort Inn Ouray is a good place to get some rest.
Summertime
 
   highs at Parson Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Parson Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. A day on the slopes of Silverton is just what you need, and paddling on Lime Creek is so much fun. Not much precipitation falls here at Parson Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while June is typically the  
               driest month.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Mineral Creek - South. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Parson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silverton Lakes Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well have a look at California Gulch; you're in all probability into lakes, Lake Como is one of those nearby. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. McCarty Basin is a great spot. There's so much to do here at Parson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is a glorious site for that.
This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. All the outdoors exciting stuff right next door to Parson Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Parson Lake rocks! Looking for something close to Parson Lake? Lake Emma is in the vicinity, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail.
