It's always fun to stop by Parson Lake. Bonita Peak is clearly visible from Parson Lake. Lakes are good; Lake Como is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Parson Lake. At Parson Lake you don’t see much precipitation; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the neighborhood of Parson Lake. This lake is so wonderful.

| | You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Silverton since you're here; McCarty Basin is a pleasant place to stretch your legs a bit. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Going for a hike along the Ridge Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; you can run the rapids of Mineral Creek - South. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Parson Lake get into the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. | |

The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Parson Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A great place for whitewater
paddling right next door to Parson Lake is Lime Creek, and skiing at Kendall Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. This is a fine vicinity for people who like lakes. Lake Emma is a lake in the vicinity; a great spot
to stop at is California Gulch. All year is a great time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you love the outdoors. After a long day outdoors St.Elmo Hotel is a great site to spend a night or two; why not camp at Silverton
Lakes Campground if you're here at Parson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is brilliant here at Parson Lake, you can go for a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail, and Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is a wonderful
local campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a brilliant choice, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Bear Creek Trail.
