     Lakes? Sure, Perino Reservoir is nearby; Mud Spring is an inspiring place to stop at while you're here. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Park Reservoir. Park Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Happy Camper RV Park is a great local campground, and hiking along the Fourmile Stock Trail is pleasant fun.
You just can't envision the amount
 
   of outdoors fun things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Middle Mountain Trail, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. At Park Reservoir you can catch a sight of Brockover Mesa; Roush Draw is another tremendous place to check out nearby. Skiing at Wolf Creek is one of those things you just have to do; Keyah Grande Resort  
               is a wonderful spot to get some rest.
Park Reservoir is pretty dried out regularly; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is June. During the months of summer at Park Reservoir highs are generally in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Park Reservoir are in the-10's. If you come at the right time of year, San Juan River offers some fine whitewater.
Having a splendid time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains is painless. Newt Jack Spring Reservoir is a splendid lake in the vicinity of Park Reservoir, and if you came to camp Turkey Springs Campground is a delightful place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Park Reservoir is right by the Piedra Stock Trail; Pagosa Springs Golf Club is a pleasant golf course close by.

The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°

These are the closest Public put in & take out to the Lat/Long given on the site. Happy Raftin!...
