Park Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sheep Crossing Campground. Not far from Park Lake, you'll hit upon Twin Lakes which is a delightful lake, and why not head up to Ski Rio and strap some skis to your feet. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Park Lake get into the 80's.       When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Park Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
