Why not stop by Parika Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Willow Creek. This lake is so wonderful. SolVista is a very popular ski area nearby, and there's great hiking along the Bowen Trail. So many entertaining things to do here at Parika Lake, too nice to be true. A pleasant site to camp here at Parika Lake is Timber Creek Campground; Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. A glorious nearby hotel is Bighorn Lodge, and you can go for a hike on the Baker Trail. Parika Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Teller City Campground is a good local campground, and don't leave Parika Lake without first going for a hike along the Mineral | |

All through the summer months here at Parika Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually
in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Parika Lake plunge into the 0's. Parika Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout May, and the driest month is January. Bowen Pass is
a wonderful place to spend some time at, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River.
